How to Fold an Origami Mushroom

This origami mushroom is designed by me and pulled from my youtube channel that you can see here. This origami model is relatively simple but doesn't look that bad. I hope you enjoy!

Step 1

Begin with a 2:1 paper. (1/2 sheet of square paper) Use single colored paper for this model. Fold the paper in half horizontally, then unfold.

Step 2

Divide the bottom half in thirds.

Step 3

Pleat.

Step 4

Valley fold the corner and unfold.

Step 5

Repeat on the right.

Step 6

Open and squash fold.

Step 7

Repeat on the right.

Step 8

Fold the layer up.

Step 9

You can either mountain fold this and tuck it back, or inside reverse fold. Either works.

Step 10

Repeat on the right.

Step 11

After turning the model right-side up, it will be complete!
